Carmageddon 2

So, this is my first “real” post on my new blog. It feels great! Anyway, as an aside, please excuse the one million holes and “issues” with this site. It’s still far from perfect. I have a bunch of additions and updates to make, but I realized that if I didn’t just “start blogging already,” I’d never be motivated to make those additions and updates. So, please excuse the absence of many bells and whistles, including a cool headshot! :)

In other news, the weather in Brooklyn has been quite crappy as of late. The other day, I walked outside to find huge tree branches scattered all over the ground, and on top of cars. Luckily, my car was spared any damage, but unfortunately, many other cars were not.

Carmageddon 3

Parking is very limited on my street, and not getting towed or ticketed requires a complex game of what I refer to as “parking chess.” I realized today that there was a perfectly good parking space available, but that no one had been taking it because it was obscured by several, large tree branches. So, I used my massive (heh) strength to lift the branches onto the sidewalk, and parked my little Del Sol into the leaf-laiden spot.

In yet other news, I finally went to the doctor today (after having been sick for over 6 weeks). He diagnosed me with atypical pneumonia and gave me a script for erythromycin (let the pooping begin!). We shall see if that cures what ails me. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Carmageddon 1

That’s it for now! Please enjoy my barren site for the time being. I promise to fill it with much goodness in the ensuing months and years to come.

Brooklyn sounds really fun, even if it looks like the midwest after a tornado in these pictures. Updated my link.
