Maters, Bites, and Paranoia
I’m very tired right now, and have many things to accomplish before I lay me down to sleep tonight, so I will keep this short. I’m going to use my blog as a to-do list reminder for myself right now. Before I go to bed tonight, I need to:
1. Wash the dishes
2. Take out the trash
3. Water the plants
4. Read a novel (Yes, I said read a novel. I had to read three total by tomorrow’s didactic sessions.)
5. Read two journal articles (Also for tomorrow’s didactics.)
6. Eat dinner
7. Feed the doggies
8. Walk the doggies
9. Move the car
10. Make dinner!
11. Shower (It’s hot! I stink!)
For the first half of my day today, my electronic “thingy” that allows me to log into the computer system failed. It took me over half the day and a lot of sweat before I got it working again. This reminded me how computers can be your best friend and your worst enemy. I was totally paralyzed. I couldn’t write orders, write notes, or do really any of my work without the computer system. Argh!
In other news, one of my tomato plants fell over today, and a huge branch of tomatoes was sacrificed (see above photo). So sad. Also, I realized that I really need to leave chewies for my doggies while I’m gone all day. My dog Molly took a huge bite out of my sofa while I was gone. It’s a good thing I haven’t yet bought a new, nice sofa. My current one is allowed to be sacrificed.
Oh, and another reminder to myself. I plan on writing a post about paranoia. A common finding on my psych hospital unit. But I have an interesting story to share, which I think raises some good questions.
That’s all I have time for tonight. I promise more good stuff to come soon! And also some good photos (I dropped my iPhone in the toilet on Friday…long story, but I will have a new one soon!)
