1 More Day of Hell, 7 Days of Freedom
It’s Friday. I am on call tomorrow (for the fourth weekend in a row!). However, I will be on vacation for the next 7 days after that. Vacation, SWEET vacation! I can tell you that I am utterly and desperately looking forward to the those 7 beautiful days of relaxation.
Yes, I am talking all about ME right now (read sarcasm in my words).
What am I doing for those 7 days of precious, heavenly time off during residency? Well, I will be visiting my new Ob/Gyn for a pap smear, going to my new dentist for a much needed teeth cleaning, studying for my upcoming PRITE exam, running, sleeping in, eating, and giving myself a present (it’s a secret that I may share later). But no, I am not leaving town or doing any other “vactiony” activities. That week will be all about ME and getting stuff done (much like my blog) [insert more sarcasm].
