Live and Let Live
I just got home from a 13-hour call in the CPEP. I’m actually surprisingly awake. Okay, it’s really not a surprise. I consumed way over the recommended daily dosage of caffeine today. I’m listening to my iTunes radio right now. Live and Let Die is playing.
I’m thinking right now how much I hate HIPAA. Okay, I don’t hate it, because it is very important. However, I have so many great stories that I could share from today, but it just ain’t legal for me to do so.
So, let me just share one juicy tidbit. We were swamped in the ER today. It tends to be a cyclical thing in the psych ER. Lots of folks get their first of the month check, splurge and spend it on substances, then crash and come in a few days later, AKA TODAY!
Anyway, time to shower and eat and figure out how to lay me down to sleep. Gotta get up at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow.
