Standin On a Hill in the Mountain of Dreams
“Find a queen without a king
They say she plays guitar and cries and sings, la-la-la-la
Ride a white mare in the footsteps of dawn
Tryin’ to find a woman who’s never, never, never been born
Standin’ on a hill in the mountain of dreams
Tellin’ myself it’s not as hard, hard, hard as it seems”- Led Zeppelin Lyrics from “Going to California”
I seriously could not be any happier at this very moment. For months, I have been dreading this day. We had to have our mock oral board exam. All of the upper year residents made it sound like the exam would be the most anxiety provoking and painful experience. But it really wasn’t all that bad.
Not only did I pass, but I passed with flying colors! My evaluator told me that there wasn’t even much he could tell me to improve on. I did it! And I did it well!
And on top of all this greatness, I am officially on vacation for the next 8 days. I’m going to be chillaxing and visiting my fam. Life couldn’t be any better right now. Well, maybe if it was 80 degrees outside and I could go to a nearby beach….But other than that, I am definitely standing on a a hill in the moutain of dreams right now….
I listened to the above Led Zeppelin song right before I went into my oral board exam, and I’m listening to it again right now….Life is goooooood!
