Cara is my God and Out Patient Medicine
For the month of April, I will be working in a special out-patient medicine clinic designated for patients who have psychiatric or substance abuse illnesses. I started my first day on Friday, which was fairly rough as I was alone. Today, the second resident was there, which took some of the heat off of me.
Let me just say that in general, I LOVE the concept of this clinic. Since we are dealing with psych/substance abuse patients only, it presents an awesome learning experience for me. More to come, soon.
Also, my partner Micah finally decided to bring home a bunch of stuff from his workplace, which has been there since February, apparently. Amongst the goodies were two gifts from my secret sister, Cara. A KICK ASS elmo hat, and a batch of yUMMMy cookies!!
I wish I’d had this hat during the past month, because I totally would have worn it every, single day. Not that I’m not going to wear it every, single day from now on. And the cookies?!! Well, let’s just say that Cara knows me well.
Love you Cara, and a belated THANKS!!
