Wake Up the Brain Cells

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells.”

Chris and Molly

I’m guilty yet again of having one million awesome thoughts to share with the world and then coming home and being too tired to write them all down. I was on call today in the CPEP (psych ER). It was my first dealings with psych patients in way too long. I promise, promise, promise to share some good thoughts soon. I have a lot of them.

The Brooklyn Bridge, Baby

In the interim, please enjoy the photos in this post. I went for an awesome, nouveau double bridge run yesterday with my friend Chris and doggies, Scope and Molly. I ran from Brooklyn over the Manhattan Bridge to Manhattan, and then through Manhattan and back over the Williamsburg Bridge into Brooklyn. It. was. amazing. Longest run I’ve been on in sometime.

Kendra and Scope

Sorry for the nonsense in this post. I have a lot of nonsense in my life lately. But I love it. It totally wakes up the brain cells.

man, i don’t know how you do this psych thing for a living but i have the utmost total respect for u. i’ve had my share of acute psych presentations to the ED and it’s so mentally draining… all my brain cells stopped working for the acute medical presentations that walked in after that @__@

Don’t breathe too deeply on the other side of the bridge. The air looks a little “thick”. Saw a movie, “Did you hear about the Morgans” (Hugh Grant S.J.Parker) and thought that might be what it would be like for you to visit my world. The flick was not great, but cute (actually kind of stupid, but I watched it anyway). Have a good day my metro friend!

Hadn’t seen that movie, but just added it to my Netflix queue. :) (I like cute but stupid movies.) Have a great day, my rural friend! :)

it’s tiring in a whole different way than “medicine” is…but it’s what lights my fire. :)
