You Were Only Waiting for This Moment to Arise

“Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise”
- The Beatles, “Blackbird”

You spin me right round, baby

I want to post some inspirational and thoughtful words right now, but I’m more interested in eating and dancing at the moment. And speaking of dancing, I have said to three patients this week, “here is a prescription for your health, dance every single day.” So far, this has made every one of my patients happy. And I know that at least one of them took my words to heart.

Alliteration

I love my job. I love my patients. I love to dance.

It’s absolutely gorgeous outside.

I was only waiting for this moment to arise.

Such a beautiful song… Thank you for reminding me! It makes me happy and sad (in a good way) at the same time every time I hear it!
And I’m going to take some of your advice tonight and dance every time I feel like thinking I’m never going to get my assignment finished.

One of my faves… (and same w/ me about the happy and sad)

I’m convinced that their would be less wars and violence if every danced every day…. :)

You can’t go wrong with the Beatles. Tonight I’ll dance with a manure fork in hand. It gives the horses a chuckle. I watched “I Am Sam” the other night. Lots of Beatles in that one.

    I miss manure forks…. :)
