Surprisingly Refreshing
I just got home from my first day back at the hospital. I ended up only having a 9-hour shift, AND I had time to eat lunch. It was awesome! If my month continues to go like this, I will be a very happy camper.
And although I was totally out of it and hallucinating on cold meds, I somehow automatically “remembered” how to be a doctor, when I thought I had forgotten everything. Kind of like when you can’t remember the words to a song, but as soon as the music comes on, you can sing every word…..
I really need to get the window ACs installed, STAT…it’s so hot in here I can barely type. The sweat keeps pouring onto my fingertips and I’m afraid it will ruin my keyboard.
It’s cold bath and dinner time!
