Super Trashy
“That girl is pretty wild now
The girl’s a super freak
The kind of girl you read about
In new-wave magazines
That girl is pretty kinky
The girl’s a super freak
I really love to taste her
Every time we meet
She’s all right, she’s all right
That girl’s all right with me, yeah”- “Super Freak” by Rick James
Interesting day today. I started a new rotation at the state psychiatric hospital. I’m remembering again why I love community psychiatry. And why I thoroughly enjoyed working at a state psychiatric hospital for 3 years. There’s something mysterious, powerful, fascinating and challenging about working with the psychiatric patients who are considered “treatment resistant.”
Also, I got a big, fat skeleton key today, which is awesome.
I spent the day in orientation activities. I then went to the gym and challenged my body perhaps a bit too much. I will pay the price tomorrow.
I’m now starving and prefer to eat over blogging, so that is all for now.
Please enjoy the “super trashy” photos with this post. I heart Mondays in Brooklyn. Today was trash day. And I was gifted with wonderful photo opportunities on my sweltering walk to the state psychiatric hospital. Awesome.
