European Vacation 2011

Well, it’s official. I am back in New York City after a 2 week vacation adventure which included a wedding in Gaithersburg Maryland, visiting Barcelona, Paris, and Amsterdam and then visiting my parents’ farm in Luray, Virginia.

Paris, France

I could write three books on the subject of everything I did and saw, however I have a million things to catch up on, so please do wait patiently for a description of my adventures.

In the meantime, please check out this photo collection. Some of the photos are a bit out of chronological order and I didn’t have the time to add proper descriptions of each photo, but hope to do so in the future…

Enjoy.

Now it’s time to take a trip to the Apple store to replace my iPhone….

J’aime la France!!!

I’m currently sitting in a McDonalds in Paris France, typing on an iPad. My partner Micah unfortunately had to do some work online and we just discovered that the Mickeydees right outside our hotel has free and fairly fast Wee fee (how the French pronounce wifi), so we came here, ordered 2 large cafes, and Micah started working. Of course, I became bored so hence the figuring out how to blog from an iPad. (As an aside, sorry for putting only one photo in this post, but I’m not adept at using an iPad.)

J'aime la France!

Today is our third and last day in Paris. As a reminder, we spent 5 days in Barcelona, Spain before taking a flight to Paris. The plan is to take a train to Amsterdam tomorrow and stop in Brussels along the way.

So far, our vacation has been everything I hoped, and more. (with only the one mishap of getting my iPhone stolen, which sucked, but taught me an important lesson…)

Barcelona was amazing and I dare to say cooler than Paris in a few ways…But Paris has definitely not disappointed (as an aside, the couple next to me have been making out non-stop for the past 15 minutes..) Yesterday, we went sight seeing and saw the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and a bunch of other things, which I’m not sure the name of…

This afternoon we plan on seeing Notre Dame, and some other things which I can’t spell without googling. Then perhaps another night out in Paris with wonderful food and drinks..That’s all I have the patience to type at the moment. Au revoir!!!!
